Went off to the range before round to find they are in the middle of installing large light fixtures around the driving range to turn it into a mini pitch and putt nighttime course (more later). I had more fun than my flight instructor did, but I think he enjoys his work. Having a funny and knowledgeable flight instructor helped a lot, too. It greatly helped me on that ride up to the drop-off point. But if you don't know how to meditate, learn how. The extra free fall time is worth it.įor me, getting in the plane was scary. Going up to a higher elevation is extra, but DO IT. (I also asked for a hot instructor, and Joel checked that box, too.)įive were in our group, and everyone was pleased with their instructors, but mine was obviously the best. I wasn't totally comfortable with the idea, so I asked the scheduler (Cassandra, who is more like a magician than a scheduler) to put me with a flight instructor who was patient and good. This was my first jump honestly, I wasn't positive I would make it. is the perfect place for your first skydive.
